Beatrice was the daughter of Alla K. Vawter and Nancy Louisa McCord.
On August 9, 1919, she married Carl Howard Nelson in Macomb, McDonough County, IL.
She lived to age 101 and left behind 11 children (12th child deceased), 51 grandchildren,
115 great-grandchildren, 69 great-great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-great-granchildren!

Dorothy was born the daughter of Ernest and Minnie (Terrill) Freeman on December 31, 1932. She was united in marriage to Elton Vawter on July 22, 1960 in Hannibal, Missouri. Dorothy and Elton farmed in the Coin, Iowa area before retiring and moving back to Dorothy's hometown of Hannibal, Missouri. They later moved to Shenandoah to be close to
