Edward Fielding's will was probated 3/2/1693, in Bristol, England.
He left a large estate to his wife Elizabeth and his children, ELIZABETH, Susannah, Martha, Mary, Anna and William.
The 500 acres in Northumberland County in Virginia, was left to his nephew, Edward, the son of his brother Ambrose.
A copy of his will can be found in The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography, Vol. 12, p 99-101.

There is no documentation that Margaret's maiden name was Boulware. The Boulware's lived next door and had many dealings with the Vawters, but that is all the evidence at this time.

David Vawter's wife has been a source of confusion for many years, and a lot of researchers have thought David Vawter married Mary Rucker, daughter of Ephraim Rucker. W.T. Vawter made this mistake in his Sons of American Revolution application. And they didn't know the difference.
To recap: Ephraim Rucker's daughter Mary Rucker married William Vawter. Ephraim's sister Mary Rucker married William Offill. And their daughter Mary (Offill) married David Vawter. If you read the Rucker Family Genealogy carefully, they are correct. Peter Rucker is the father of Mary Rucker Offill..
Will of Martha Reymonds, Sept 18 1753, mentions Daughter Elizabeth Rucker
and son-in-law Thomas Rucker is one of the executors.
There does not seem to be conclusive evidence that Elizabeth's maiden name was Fielding. Some researchers think it was Coghill and the Ruckers and the Coghills were closely associated.

Ephraim's sister Mary Rucker married William Offill. And their daughter MARY (Offill) married DAVID VAWTER.
Peter Rucker is the father of Mary Rucker Offill, and our line.
Also, Ephraim Rucker was married to Margaret Vawter, David's sister.
Several entries on Ancestry.com suggest the maiden name of Margaret was Elzaphan.
No proof, although one son was named Elzaphan and called Elzy.
The birth date for Lemuel comes from "The Rucker Family" book.

On October 21, 1708, Stokeley Towles married, in Middlesex, Ann (born August 14, 1693) daughter of Claude Vallott, also known as Claude Champagne, who, on October 6, 1684, deposed that he was 35 years old. Vallott's wife was Ann (nee Jenkinson).
Towles' will, of record at Culpeper, made January 15, proved December 15, 1757, named Spencer Bobo and testator's (second) wife Jane executors.

On this 3rd day of September1832 personally appeared before the Circuit Court of the County of Jefferson aforesaid, JOHN WEST a resident in the County and State aforesaid aged 84 years, who being first duly sworn, according to law, hath on his oath, make the following declaration, in order to obtain the benefit of the pension made by Act of Congress passed June 7, 1832. That he enlisted in the Army of the United States in the year 1780 with Capt. Mark Thomas and served in the Virginia State Troops under the following named officers. Capt. Mark Thomas, Capt. Benjamin Roberts, Lieutenant Robt. Sanders and Major Slaughter. Left the service in the month of October 1782. Lived in Spotsylvania County, Virginia when he entered service. Marched from Culpeper County to Red Stones, then down the river the the Falls of the Ohio. Then got a furlough to go home and served the remainder of enlistment at Richmond under Col. William Davis. He hereby relinquishes every claim whatever to a pension or an warrenty, except the present, and he declares that his name is not on the Pension role of any agency in any State.
Sworn to, and subscribed, the day and year aforesaid.
