Obituary:
Ruth L. Vawter, 98, passed away at 11:10 a.m. February 29, 2016 at Lima Convalescent Home. Ruth was born December 28, 1917 in Circleville to Thomas and Anna Mae (O'Hara) Moodispaugh who preceded her in death. On June 20, 1936 she married John Vawter who preceded her in death on November 16, 1985. She retired as a beautician from LeTigress Salon. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially pies. Survivors include three daughters, Beverley Baker of Columbus, Barbara Forest of Lima, Thelma (Ronald) Breech of Covington, GA; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Lawrence Vawter, seven brothers and sisters.

Olsen Salve [Male] b. 02 APR 1886 Norway - d. 17 OCT 1953 Minnesota

Salve immigrated by himself to the United States arriving in New York City from Norway in May 1902 when he was only 16. He first settled in the state of Washington and made his way to Minnesota where he met his loving wife Clara Marie Thisius. Together they raised 9 children: Agar, Dorothy, Clifford, Emily, Margaret, Bernard, Gwen, LaVonne and Darlene on their farm.

Beatrice was the daughter of Alla K. Vawter and Nancy Louisa McCord.
On August 9, 1919, she married Carl Howard Nelson in Macomb, McDonough County, IL.
She lived to age 101 and left behind 11 children (12th child deceased), 51 grandchildren,
115 great-grandchildren, 69 great-great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-great-granchildren!
