Wallace Clifford Vawter of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on March 9, 2011. Wally lived most of his life in Spokane, Washington, where he was the Owner and President of Wally Vawter & Assoc., Inc. a Real Estate and Insurance Brokerage firm for 30 years. Wally also owned Lilac City Sound. Wally was educated at the University of Washington, Surety School. He was past Board Member Junior Chamber of Commerce and Spokane Chamber of Commerce; past Board Member Shadle Park PTA; Founder Spokane Yacht Club and Past Commodore; Founder of Spokane Outboard Club and Past Commodore; and, Founder of Spokane Boat Show and Manager for 13 years. He moved to Arizona in 1991.
Wally is survived by his three children Sherry Lynn Goss of Peoria, Arizona, Dan Vawter of Adams, Oregon, and Grant Vawter of Concord, California; seven grandchildren; and his sister, Alice Betty Dahl of Anacortes, Washington; and many more family members and friends. Wally lived a full and happy life. In his later years he commented that his faith in the Lord, his family and friends are what is important.
