Thomas Perry Tong, 85, a resident of Gate Springs County near Arlington, Texas, died in Fort Worth after several months' illness. He was born in El Dorado, Kansas and reared in Leon, Kansas. He had been a resident of Gate Springs for 10 years.
Survivors include a wife, Mary Addie; four sons, Ezra L., Eugene, and Jeff of Fort Worth Texas and Charlie of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Alice Purdy of Washington D. C.; a sister, Velma Prucha of California; one half-brother, Lloyd Tong, Leon, Kansas; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Moore's Chapel, Fort Worth, Texas officiating will be the Revs. R. Riley and M. Milton. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Elmwood Cemetery, Wagoner, Oklahoma.
